When pulling cable through flex conduit, metal conduit, manholes, or access panels you will need to acquire the right fiberglass fish tape. With lengths from 100 feet to 1,000 feet, tension strength up to 1,400 pounds, and diameters from 1/8th inch to ½ inch., depending on the job, you will have to determine what type of fish tape to use. For pulling through indoor conduit, a smaller diameter fish tape like the Jameson Wee Buddy or the Jameson Little buddy fiber-glass fish-tape gives you a smaller bend radius which can handle sharper and more frequent turns throughout the conduit. For larger jobs through access points such as manholes, a larger diameter and longer range fiberglass fish tape is better like the Jameson Big Buddy rodder or Jameson Good Buddy rodder because it has a better pull strength and the long distance of the fiberglass fish tape ensures that you only have to make the pull once.
