This Vanco HDMI Extender Kit, Cat5E Cable Boxes w/ HDMI Tails uses two Cat5E or two Cat6 cables to extend an HDTV display up to 100 ft. (30 meters) for 1080p. It breaks the limitation of the HDMI^® cable transmission length, and Category 5E/6 cable (Ethernet cable) has more flexibility and convenience in cable construction. Both the transmitter and the receiver are equipped with a fixed HDMI^® cable, saving you money and installation setup time. It is capable of supporting DVI (digital visual interface) equipment when used with an HDMI^® to DVI Adapter (sold separately). It also provides greater flexibility and more options when integrating multiple home theater components. This product offers a variety of uses: HDTV retail and show site, HDTV, STUB, DVD and Projector factories, noise, space and security concerns, data center control, information distribution, conference room presentation, classroom presentations, and corporate training environments.
